1. Introduction
AgoraScan (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have with respect to your data when you use our website at agorascan.xyz.
2. Analytics Data We Collect
When you browse AgoraScan, we collect anonymised usage data to understand how visitors interact with the site. This includes:
- Pages visited and navigation paths
- Time spent on each page and overall session duration
- Device type, operating system, and browser (user-agent string)
- Screen resolution category (mobile / tablet / desktop)
- Referring website or traffic source
- Country or region inferred from your IP address (IP is not stored permanently)
- Actions taken on the site (e.g. favouriting a dApp, submitting feedback)
This data is collected using our own first-party analytics infrastructure hosted on our servers — we do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking scripts for analytics purposes.
3. Account Data
If you create an account on AgoraScan, we store the following information:
- Email address — used to identify your account and send essential account-related communications (e.g. password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- Username — a public display name you choose. It appears on your public profile page (agorascan.xyz/u/your-username) and is visible to other users.
- Display name & profile picture — an optional name and image you upload. If provided, they appear on your profile and on your public profile page and are visible to anyone with the link. Uploaded images are resized and stored on our servers; do not upload pictures you are not comfortable making public.
- Favourites — the dApps you mark as favourites are stored and associated with your account.
- Login timestamps — we record when you sign in to calculate activity statistics and detect unusual access.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use the following client-side storage:

5. Third Parties
- Supabase — we use Supabase for user authentication. When you sign up or log in, your credentials are processed by Supabase. Please refer to the Supabase Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & deletion — you can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. This removes your email, username, display name, profile picture, and all stored favourites from our database.
- Cookie opt-out — if you click “Decline” on the cookie banner, we will not write analytics identifiers to your browser. You can clear existing data at any time through your browser's developer tools or privacy settings.
- Contact — for any privacy-related requests, please reach out to us on Discord.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of AgoraScan after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
